Back to "Normal"? whatever that is!

This week found us returning to our normal activities, Classical Conversations, Cherubs Choir, library storytime and park play, ballet, and Friday Fun at Madrona Marsh. Her dad was home this week though so he took her to some of them like to CC:

but he also took her to the beach midweek:



We also had a meeting of Hearth Keepers, our girls club using the Little Keepers/Keepers at Home books from Keepers of the Faith. Inspired by the weather and activity going on in our own yard (the farmette, front and back), we did a gardening activity. The girls planted 3 radish seeds each:



Then they also got to dig up a seedling from our yet again all-volunteer front yard pumpkin patch:



There were a few seeds that tried to grow but just didn't make it, but they did make an excellent example of how seeds grow. This one did come along nicely:




(The girls also helped plant some small tomato plants in the beginning of our meeting, but I forgot to get the camera in time. d'oh!)
